Respond! advocate that Private Estates need to continue to incorporate Social Housing
Respond! Housing Association is adamant that we cannot allow developers to force the Government to row back on Part V, as all evidence suggests Part V has been a significant success story nationally. Under Part V of the Planning and Development Act 2000 developers are required to cede up to 20% of a development to social and affordable housing. One of the major objectives and benefit of Part V has been to ensure a level of mixed tenure within estates.
