Events take place on Respond! estates throughout the year, including estate openings, community launches, summer camps, christmas and halloween parties and much more besides. We engage with residents to promote their own estate and encourage events which involve the entire community.
On a national level, Respond! host national conferences and workshops which bring together key stakeholders and policy makers.

Respond! International Conference 2007 took place on October 11th and 12th in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, Dublin 9.

The primary aim of the conference was to examine critically the Irish Housing Sector from personal, public and private persectives, while considering the role of social housing and future developments in the sector.

Lord Mayor of Cork, Councillor Donal Counihan launched a new Cross Border initiative between Respond! Housing Association, and the Chartered Institute of Housing, Northern Ireland in the Silversprings Moran Hotel, Cork on January 31st 2008.

Ireland’s largest housing association is today, March 11th 2008, launching a new advocacy campaign aimed at engaging people to debate the inequalities which exist in the Irish housing market.

Respond! National Conference 2008 was held in the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise, Co Laois on June 5th 2008.

Respond! launched their Pre-Budget Submission on 29th September 2008. The housing charity are calling on the Government to implement critical changes in the areas of housing, services for older persons, education, community health and information technology.
