Respond support the WLR Lyons Hamper Appeal

Respond  hosted a Deise AM Coffee Morning for staff on Friday 12th December at 11:00am in Francis House in aid of the WLRfm Lions Club Christmas Appeal, in Airmount Waterford.

The appeal looks to support as many families as possible in the run-up to Christmas. All funds will be used to buy necessities for families for Christmas, which will be sorted by Lions Club volunteers who will create festive food hampers to be distributed by local charity partners to those in need across the county.

Respond staff again combined this coffee morning event with the ‘wear something red to work day’, Christmas jumpers were very much in evidence, along with red socks, red scarfs and santa hats.

There was an opportunity to guess how many sweets are in the jar (€1.00 a guess) and Louise Grant guessed closest and won the content.

Mince pies, cakes, and other Christmas treats were provided for all who attend.Java Republic sponsored the tea and coffee

Everyone who attended enjoyed the atmosphere, ate the goodies and donated to this very worthy cause.
