19/05/2026: Respond, Ireland’s largest construction led Approved Housing Body and service provider, are delighted to welcome 120 new tenants to their new homes in Lisieux Hall, Sandyford, Dublin 18. Delivering 70 Cost Rental and 133 social homes, these homes form part of a wider 203 homes in this mixed tenure development.
Designed to provide high-quality, secure and affordable housing for individuals and families who are priced out of the private rental market, these homes comprise:
Cost Rental is an affordable housing tenure, available to those who have a household income of less than €66,000 (net) in Dublin and €59,000 (net) in the rest of the country per annum, with rents set at least 25% below market rate in the area.
Tenant Experience
Located beside the Dublin Mountains, Lisieux Hall offers tenants excellent transport links to Dublin city centre. Designed with tenants’ quality of life and community at its core, each home is A-rated, featuring modern, energy efficient design with underground parking available and access to landscaped courtyards and shared open spaces.
Tenants will experience support from Respond’s onsite Tenant Experience Team, consisting of a Tenant Relations Officer, Community Support Worker and Building Supervisor, helping to build a strong sense of community from the outset.

Niamh Randall, spokesperson for Respond, highlighted the importance of this milestone:
“These homes offer security and affordability to people who are struggling with high rents in Dublin. This is more than a housing development – it’s a community designed to help people thrive, supported by excellent local amenities, transport links and our dedicated on-site team. From the moment tenants receive their keys, our Tenant Experience team works alongside them to ensure they feel at home. That early support makes a lasting difference. None of this would not be possible without strong partnerships.”
This new development in Dublin is part of Respond’s national development programme aimed at addressing Ireland’s ongoing housing need.
These homes were delivered in partnership with Dún Laoghaire – Rathdown County Council, the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, the Housing Finance Agency and The Housing Agency. They were funded with Government support through the Capital Advance Leasing Facility (CALF) to deliver social homes and the Cost Rental Equity Loan (CREL) to support affordable cost rental homes, alongside long-term finance from the Housing Finance Agency. Construction was led by Connack Construction Limited, Red Willow Limited, Alber Developments and Duffy Group Ireland.
A Growing National Pipeline
Respond currently provides homes for over 20,000 people in more than 9,000 homes across Ireland. The organisation has approximately 3,000 homes under construction, delivering social and Cost Rental housing across Ireland.
