Respond delivers 32 new affordable Cost Rental and Social Homes in Bray

Respond, Ireland’s largest construction led Approved Housing Body and service provider, are delighted to welcome 32 new tenants to their new homes in Albert Avenue, Bray.

This mixed tenure development comprises 32 apartments across two apartments buildings and includes 29 Cost Rental apartments and 3 social homes.

• 16 two-bedroom apartments

Cost Rental is an affordable housing scheme, available to those who earn €59,000 (net) per annum, with rents set at least 25% below market rate.

Tenant Experience

Albert Avenue has been designed with tenants’ quality of life at its core. Each home features modern appliances, an energy-efficient A-rated BER, and access to local amenities.

Tenants will also experience continuous supports from Respond’s Tenant Experience Team, ensuring a smooth move-in process and a strong sense of community from day one.

These turnkey homes were financed via a mix of private funding, a CREL and CALF loan.

The development also has excellent public transport connectivity, via Bray DART station. Average commute time of 40 minutes from Bray to Pearse Street in Dublin city centre.

Built in collaboration with Wicklow County Council, The Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, the Housing Finance Agency and the Housing Agency, construction was led by O’Flynn Construction Ltd.
