Friary Gardens in Carrick on Suir, Co. Tipperary was designed by Respond Housing Association and constructed by Townmore Construction in 2009. The estate was built on lands kindly donated by the Franciscan Friars on the site of the old Carrick on Suir Friary. Friary Gardens was built with the support of South Tipperary County Council and kindly funded by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government. The estate contains 9 homes for older people, as well as an 8-bed group and communal facilities.
